Miche X2 RD Chainring – 200€
Your watts deserve more

Every pedal stroke tells a story of dedication, every watt unleashes pure energy. That’s why Miche has developed the new X2 RD chainring, designed to turn every single effort into performance.

Performance driven by engineering
The essence of this chainring lies in its meticulous engineering and the incredible attention to detail we have always put into our products: a CNC-machined AL 7075-T6 aluminum plate merges with a structural 3K carbon layer, creating a unique synergy that delivers extreme stiffness, lightness, and top-level responsiveness in power transmission.

Its dedicated design makes it compatible with cranksets that have or do not have a power meter, ensuring flawless performance in every setup.

Full compatibility with Dura-Ace 9200 and Ultegra 8100 groupsets
The X2 RD R92 and the X2 RD R81 stem from the same vision but are designed for different targets. The R92 has been designed explicitly for Dura-Ace 9200 cranksets, offering the broadest range of chainring options, from 50 to 56 teeth (50, 52, 54, 55, 56). The R81, on the other hand, is designed for Ultegra 8100 cranksets with three dedicated configurations: 50, 52, and 54 teeth, while maintaining the same design philosophy.

Both are compatible with Miche R12 inner chainrings as well as original Shimano ones, giving riders maximum freedom of choice.

Because every watt matters
With X2 RD, it’s not just about pushing harder: it’s about maximizing every single watt you produce, transforming energy into speed, and feeling the difference with every pedal stroke.

Miche’s engineering process represents a rigorous synthesis of advanced design, technical development, and construction quality at the highest standards.

Every watt saved is not just efficiency: it’s time, it’s performance, it’s results.

X2 RD is now available for order for €200 (VAT included). Head over to Miche’s website to learn more about the X2 RD R92 and R81.

Ritchey Switch System
Integrated aesthetics, aerodynamics, and protection

The new Ritchey Switch System checks all the boxes for aesthetics, aerodynamics, and cable protection. Ritchey is proud to introduce this cleverly integrated solution designed to streamline and conceal internally routed cables, wires, and hydraulic lines from the handlebar into bicycle frames. Engineered for frames with 44mm headtubes, or 1.5” headtubes and tapered 1-1/8”–1.5” forks, the Switch System delivers a clean, high-performance aesthetic without compromising functionality.

The Ritchey Switch System is comprised of three key elements:

  • Switch Stem
  • Switch Headset Spacers
  • Switch Headset

Switch Stem: Strength Meets Stealth

At the heart of the system is the Switch Stem, which is available in three levels: WCS; Comp; and RL1. Both the WCS and Comp Switch Stems feature Ritchey’s trusted C220 handlebar clamp design — now wider for enhanced stiffness, while the more modestly priced RL1 showcases Ritchey’s logical four-bolt clamp design. The WCS Switch Stem routes up to three cables inside the stem body and through the cable guide for a 100 percent concealed look. Cables seamlessly integrate with the Switch Spacers and Switch Headset to ensure a sleek setup.

The Comp and RL1 Switch Stems’ underside houses a unique enclosed channel capable of routing up to four cables through a special cable guide.

All three Switch Stems feature an 84º angle and are available in lengths from 60-120mm.

Switch Headset Spacers: Precision Routing, Effortless Adjustability

These interlocking spacers are essential to the Switch System’s clean look and functionality. Designed to mirror the stem’s underside, they guide cables into the headset while allowing for easy installation or removal without disconnecting any lines.

Switch Headset: Seamless Integration, Uncompromised Performance

The system’s final piece, the Switch Headset, is engineered to route cables from the handlebar through the stem and spacers into the frame — without interfering with headset bearing performance. The secret to easy and problem-free cable routing lies in the one-piece design of the top cap and compression ring. This ensures smooth steering and long-term durability. The Switch Headset’s S.H.I.S. compatibility includes IS52/28.6, ZS55/28.6, ZS56/28.6, and EC 44/28.6 | EC44/40.

The Ritchey Switch System is proof of Ritchey’s commitment to performance and clean, practical design. Built from life, it’s made for riders who demand both form and function.

Lezyne Radar React System – React Radar $179.99, React Drive $124.99
Your cycling sixth-sense

Studies have shown that up to 40% of bicycle crashes involving motor vehicles come from the rear. There is ample evidence that a rear facing red-light is the single most impactful thing a rider can use to reduce their risk of being struck by approaching vehicles from the rear. Pairing a smart light with a radar that warns the rider and can adapt the light to an oncoming vehicle only raises the cyclist’s situational awareness, and increases their safety. Lezyne now offers such a light, joining several other manufacturers, providing an advanced solution for added safety.

Lezyne’s entry to the bike radar space is with a new twist—a front and rear light system that not only sees cars coming from behind, but tells you about them through the front light.

Lezyne sez: “It’s a complete visibility solution with just a front and rear light: Riders benefit from daytime visibility via disruptive flash modes, improved awareness through radar detection and alerts, and a front light bright enough for advanced night riding.”

The Radar React system pairs a powerful rear light and radar unit with a front light that’s equally as bright. The key innovation is how they work together. If you’re a rider who doesn’t use a GPS computer, the front light can give you both visual and audio alerts when the rear radar detects a vehicle approaching. It’s a clever way to keep you in the know without needing a separate head unit.

Need a radar-only option? The rear light unit can be used on its own. When it detects an approaching car, the light will automatically change to a unique flash pattern to make you even more visible.

Of course, if you do have a GPS computer, the React Radar will pair up with most major brands just like other radar systems.

As you’d expect from Lezyne, these are serious lights. The React Drive headlight packs a 1200-lumen punch to light the way ahead, while the radar unit blasts out a maximum of 300 lumens providing visibility day or night. Both lights boast IPX7 waterproofing ratings and are rechargeable with USB-C.

You can buy the lights individually or as the complete Radar React System. It’s a unique take on bike safety that brings a new level of integration to the radar market. If you fancy one or both of these lights, or would like to learn more, head over to Lezyne.com.

A standout feature of VeloVox is its select Shimano integration. Riders can control the device via Shimano Di2 shifters or Shimano STEPS e-bike systems—keeping hands on the bars and eyes on the road.

Peter Duynslaeger, Lazer General Manager, sez: “VeloVox is all about enhancing the ride experience—connecting cyclists without distractions, and delivering sound where and when it matters. Whether it’s for team strategy, safety, or sharing the joy of the ride, this is a tool that adapts to how real riders ride”.

Asaf Schnitzer, Cardo Head of Outdoor Business, sez: “It’s a great opportunity for us to partner with Lazer and bring our group communication solution to the cycling world. With audio made specifically for cycling, an open-ear design for safer riding, and seamless group intercom, VeloVox will take riding to new heights—turning it into a much more connected and social experience.”

Wahoo Smartbike patent
Lean into your training

Peel the paint off your walls, folks, because the world of indoor riding could soon be getting a whole lot more exciting. The Wahoo KICKR Bike has been the gold standard, but Wahoo have been busy cooking up something special, and it looks like a new patent just spilled the beans. This isn’t just about simulating climbs and descents anymore; we’re talking about a whole new level of realism.

A recently published patent filing from Wahoo reveals an “exercise bike with side-to-side motion mechanism.” Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a leaning bike—BowFlex and MUOV have been doing their thing for a while—but this is Wahoo, one of the biggest names in the game.

The patent drawings show a bike that looks suspiciously like the new KICKR Bike Pro, but with a beefed-up base that houses the magic tilting mechanism. This isn’t a small tweak; it’s a fundamental change designed to bring your ride to life. The patent describes a “rocking base” with an “arc shaped rocking surface” that lets the whole setup sway side-to-side.

Why does this matter? Well, for starters, it’s about comfort. Rocker plates have been a go-to for years to alleviate that static pressure on your backside and joints during those long, mind-numbing indoor sessions. But, this new design goes a step further, not only easing discomfort but also engaging your core and upper body, just like you would on the road.

Of course, a patent is just that—a patent. There’s no guarantee this will ever see the light of day. But let’s be honest, knowing Wahoo, they’re not just filing patents for fun. This is a big one, and it could be the start of a whole new era for indoor training. Get ready to lean into your next ride!
